VALERIE HARVES

Val has been involved in Art and craft for the past 35 years. Spinning and Weaving, Quilting, Wearable Art, Folk Art painting and painting. Taught by some of the top people from Australia and Overseas.

Val and her Husband Peter, started the Coolangatta craft Centre at Coolangatta near Shoalhaven Heads in 1978, which they worked at for 25 years. During that time the Craft Centre housed many other art and craft people. For example: A glass Artist, Silversmith and other Potters. Val taught Folk Art at the centre and during that time found a passion for Iconic Style Painting, and decorates Peters hand thrown Pottery.

Peter and Val had an exhibition area at the Craft Centre at where Val showed her one off art pieces.
