SHANNON CREES
                                                   
Shannon Crees lives and works on Sydneys' northern beaches. She studied at East Sydney, Sydney Institute of technology, graduating in 2000 with an advanced diploma in fashion design.She moved on to painting, and completed a certificate in small business management, and a year of NEIS which lead to working as a professional artist.

Shannon has participated in many solo and group exhibitions.  Her paintings are figurative, graduating from fashion illustration work; to large scale paintings that incorporate mixed media. The works are now in many private collections around the world.

As an emerging artist, she says; " I am excited about exploring techniques and subject matter”. As a new member of Artists for Humanity , I am excited about the challenge of conveying a positive message and being part of such a great movement".
