AYSE KIRAN

Ayse was born in Istanbul. Her love for art and particularly painting was greatly influenced by her mother who was also an artist.

She educated in Ankara as an art teacher and worked in this field for the next three years. During this time she was also continuously painting and exhibiting in many different galleries around Ankara.

Ayse immigrated to Australia in 1971. Fascinated by Australian landscape and influenced by Australian art, she went further in her exploration of nature and its forms in a more abstract way of expressing herself.
